Joel A. Schroeder, CVPM
Joel was raised in Kailua-Kona, HI. He attended Northern Virginia Community College and Old Dominion University, where he received degrees in General Studies and Industrial Technology, with core focuses in professional ethics and administrative leadership.
For the last 17 years, Joel has dedicated himself to the veterinary industry gaining extensive knowledge in various positions and practice profiles, including multi-location general medicine and emergency/specialty hospitals. He considers his career within the veterinary profession to be a satisfying and rewarding service, driven by a deep appreciation for the human-animal bond. His professional interests are finance, marketing and human resource management/development.
Joel received the designation of CVPM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager) in 2012. As a CVPM, he has achieved the industry's highest credential for practice management professionals, demonstrating experience, knowledge, and commitment to the pursuit of veterinary excellence.
Joel lives in Clarke County, VA. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, traveling, and various motor sport activities.
Beverly was born and raised in Manassas. She came to the animal field on a whim but has enjoyed every moment since. Beverly came to NOAH in August of 2014 as a Client Service Specialist and quickly became the Hospital Coordinator. Beverly currently lives in Winchester and enjoys scrapbooking, cooking and shopping.
Kristin was born in South Carolina but was raised up and down the east coast as she was a child of the Navy. She came to Northern Virginia in 1997 when her dad retired from the Military. Kristin received her Associates in Business Administration from Northern Virginia Community College in 2011. She has always loved animals from a very early age with a dream of becoming a marine biologist, although life had different plans. Kristin joined NOAH in 2016. She currently lives in Front Royal and enjoys spending time with friends, camping and hanging out with her kids.
Angela hails from a place she likes to call "everywhere" USA. She was born and raised in a military family and has lived anywhere from overseas in Turkey to the west coast of California. Angela has an BS in General Studies and is currently enrolled with Penn Foster for a degree in Veterinary Technology. She has always had a love for animals and came to NOAH in November of 2007. She lives in West Virginia with her husband and son. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her son and husband, working on cars, fishing, going to the beach and cooking.
Client Service Specialist
Dana was born and raised in Palm Springs, California. She has always loved animals since as early as she can remember. She attended College of the Desert and Veterinary Assistant School in Orange County, California. Dana joined us here at North Oatlands in March of 2016. She currently lives in Lovettsville with her boys and enjoys softball cornhole and barbecuing.
Senior Veterinary Assistant
Ashley was born and raised in the small town of Meadville, PA. She has had a love of animals since she was in Middle School. She graduated from Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh, Pa. In October of 2008 with an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology and came to work at NOAH in November of 2009. She currently resides in Front Royal and enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with friends in her free time.
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Sonya joined our staff at North Oatlands in December of 2017. She was born in Mississippi and raised around Louisiana, although moved a few times with a dad in the military. Sonya attended Northern Virginia Community College, achieving an Associates in Applied Science and her Veterinary Technician degree in 2006. She graduated as a Presidential Scholar with Honors. Sonya has always loved animals and brought them home on many an occasion. She currently lives in Winchester with her family on a beautiful farm. Other than work, Sonya enjoys barrel racing, spending time with her family farming, drawing and artwork.
Veterinary Technician Assistant
Jaime, a Northern Virginia native, joined North Oatlands in July of 2017. She grew up with animals her entire life and became interested in the show world after a family friend who did this moved in. Jaime has been showing dogs since she was 7 years old and breeding Chinese Cresteds now for 20 years. She became a Technician 12 years ago and has loved every minute. Jaime also enjoys grooming, photography, hiking and traveling.
Adrian was born and raised in Fort Meyers, Florida. He has a general love and respect for nature which is what brought him to the animal field. Adrian has been looking into going to school to become a Licensed Technician but in the meantime, is learning as much as he can as a Vet. Assistant. Adrian came to North Oatlands in June of 2017. He currently lives in Middleburg and enjoys dog training, hiking, pet sitting, reading and eating.
