Diagnostic Services for Pets

Veterinary Services

At North Oatlands Animal Hospital, we are serious about early detection of disease to ensure the best chance of a successful outcome to a treatment plan for your pet. Our diagnostic services include an on-site laboratory, ultrasound, endoscopy and x-ray equipment. Our in-house laboratory and radiology equipment allows us to provide extensive diagnostic care during a regularly scheduled wellness exam as well.

Your pet’s health and comfort are our highest priority. When your pet has a medical problem, our staff will determine how urgently it needs to be addressed. Patients in life threatening conditions are admitted immediately and receive intensive care from our experienced veterinarians and staff. If patients are in significant discomfort but not in immediate danger, we’ll make every possible effort to see them on a same-day basis.

Once your pet has been seen by our professionals, they will share with you their initial assessment of the problem and discuss with you recommendations for further diagnosis and treatment options. When in the best interest of your pet, we will provide a referral recommendation to specialty and unique service providers available in the area.

We utilize advanced technology to help diagnose your pet’s medical issues, including:

  • Endoscopy
    • Minimally-invasive procedure that aids us in the diagnosis of disease and in emergency situations
