Coronavirus: You & Your Pet

As we continue to monitor the ever-changing situation regarding COVID-19, North Oatlands and Dominion Valley Animal Hospitals are committed to the health and safety of our clients and patients. With the growing concerns about COVID-19, we endeavor to continue to provide a clean and safe environment in both of our facilities. To limit the spread of coronavirus and to support the best outcomes possible for our clients, we ask that you follow these guidelines when visiting our hospitals:

  • Wash your hands with soap and water prior to visiting our clinic
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
  • Keep a safe social distance (6 feet) between yourself and other people when possible
  • Avoid shaking hands
  • If you are feeling ill or been exposed to someone who is ill, please stay home – we are happy to reschedule and see you in the near future; there will be no cancellation fee charged.
  • With prior arrangement, you may also have a trusted agent bring your pet to see us as the circumstance necessitates.
  • Wellness and Annual exams may be deferred if your pet is current on vaccines and healthy.
  • If you wish to have curbside service for appointments or medication pick-ups, please let our staff know when requesting/confirming your appointment.  You can call us once you are in the parking lot and someone will come out to retrieve your pet and/or deliver your medications to your vehicle.
  • If you would desire a telemedicine appointment/opportunity with our veterinarians, we can do our best to accommodate and determine how we can help remotely; if an onsite visit at our clinic becomes necessary, we are happy to support with curbside service throughout.
  • Accordingly, we will continue to monitor the recommendations of the CDC and endeavor to maintain accessibility with the best interest of your clients, patients, and staff in mind.
